The spoken or written word is the result of our thought. Words are used to communicate with the outside world and these words have the natural tendency to solidify our thoughts.
Words that are spoken, unspoken, or written, validate our thoughts as they enter our minds, leave our lips, or are transferred onto paper. Therefore it is easy to see how something intangible as a thought can cause something to happen; an effect. The words you use are either the tools of construction or the weapons of destruction. Everything that leaves your lips is an extension of you. Words leave impressions on others just as they leave impressions on you. Words can make up million dollar contracts and words can break up relationships. So it’s easy to see how important it is to choose the words you use with care. Speak of light and there can be no darkness; speak of hate and there can be no love.
What you say to yourself when nobody is around are your true feelings. Those inner grumblings that you keep to yourself are what shapes your world. The internal conversations you carry on usually end up inspiring or tearing you down. Everybody talks to themselves; but because of psychology and other social factors, those who admit they talk to themselves are often labeled as freaks or classified with some bullshit disorder like ADHDHOOK-EMONMOREDRUGS. Just because you talk to yourself does not mean anything other than you are bouncing ideas off the wall to hear what something sounds like ahead of time or to get clear on what it is you’re trying to do. What is important to note is that what you say to yourself sticks to you like super glue and shapes your world because you originated the idea. Your thoughts, your world.
The world without is a reflection of the world within.
Words by themselves, are meaningless if they aren’t backed with clear, decisive action. Action, in and of itself, is the sole determining factor that identifies a persons true intentions. People can say all they want, but if their words aren’t in line with their actions you can immediately dismiss what they said.
